LISOLAC
Descrição
Lisolac contains the enzyme lactase, which improves lactose digestion in people with lactose intolerance, thus reducing symptoms associated with lactose intolerance.
Lisolac should be taken immediately before consuming foods containing lactose.
With Lisolac, people with lactose intolerance can maintain a normal diet while still enjoying the benefits of milk and dairy products!
However, it is important to know that lactose tolerance is variable and that people who are lactose intolerant should seek guidance on the role of this substance in their diet.
What is lactose intolerance?
A person is considered lactose intolerant when they are unable to effectively digest this sugar.
A person is considered lactose intolerant when they cannot effectively digest this sugar. This condition occurs when the body does not produce sufficient quantities of the enzyme lactase, which is the substance responsible for transforming lactose into galactose and glucose, thus allowing its proper digestion.
Undigested lactose can lead to intestinal symptoms such as bloating and abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, gas, and cramps, which occur after consuming dairy products and foods.
What is the difference between lactose intolerance and milk allergy?
It is important to emphasize that lactose intolerance is not the same as a milk allergy.
As we saw earlier, lactose intolerance is caused by a deficiency of the lactase enzyme. On the other hand, milk allergy is caused by an immune reaction in the body and not by an enzyme deficiency.
Symptoms of a milk allergy include vomiting, skin redness, and diarrhea. If you suspect you are allergic to milk, consult your doctor.
