Basiflux Syrup 1.6mg/ml 200ml

Adjuvant mucolytic in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion.

Active substances: 1.6 mg of bromhexine/ml syrup.

Bromhexine works by increasing the quantity of secretions while reducing their viscosity.

Pediatric population: Children over 12 years: 5 ml, 3 times a day, up to a maximum of 30 ml (equivalent to 48 mg of bromhexine) per day. Children from 6 to 12 years: 2.5 ml, 3 times a day, up to a maximum of 10 ml (equivalent to 16 mg of bromhexine) per day. Children from 2 to 6 years: 1.25 ml, 3 times a day, up to a maximum of 5 ml (equivalent to 8 mg of bromhexine) per day. Basiflux should only be administered to children under 2 years of age under medical supervision. Adult population: 5 ml (1 full measuring spoon), 3 times a day. At the beginning of treatment, it may be necessary to increase the total daily dose, up to a maximum of 30 ml (10 ml, 3 times a day, equivalent to 48 mg of bromhexine) in adults.
